Funny Conversation

A guy who staffs at the Oxford base, which is down on the south island, came in today for a 3 day meeting with other leaders in NZ. Here is our conversation:

[Me]: So where are you from?
[Will] : From San Diego, but i went to school in Orange County
[Me]: Oh yea which school? San Diego State?
[Will] :No, i went to Vanguard Uni
[Me]: Hm...you wouldn't by any chance know a guy Named Paul Bagai, he's my youth Pastor
[Will] :I dont know, what does he look like?
[Me]: He's a short indian Guy but he doesnt sound indian
[Will] :Hm...maybe. Wait, buy any chance would he make this joke - "Im indian...dots not feathers!!!"
[Me]: YES!!! Thats him! hahaha!!
[Will] :Yeah that was how he responded in role call the first day of a class we had together
[Me]: haha yes!!!!

So, Paul, your indian power travels even to the the ends of the earth.

My latest Update...until i update again !!

Hello everyone.

Last Saturday we went to Piha beach, a beach with some of the best surf in New Zealand. I didn't get a chance to, but maybe sometime. The sand is black and the undertow is really strong. Your not even supposed to swim out there without a board or fins. They have a rescue program there to save all the people who decide to take the risk too.

We have picked our outreach locations, and in the last week of November I will be heading to Guam and Saipan for three months. We are not 100% sure what we will be doing, but that is okay because we can really do any ministry we want to and feel led to do.

The last few weeks of lectures included missions, Lordship and the cross, and the father heart of God. We studied the Abrahamic covenant during missions and how we are blessed by God to be a blessing to the Nations, and having that as a mindset for loving people around the world. During Lordship we learned how a relationship with God needs to be balanced with loving God and receiving love, and serving him and having fear of the Lord. We had a really good night on Friday full of repentance, confession, and laying things on the altar. It was really good. There was a lot of breakthrough and seeing people being healed of their past and accepting God's forgiveness. This was very good for me, because something i Never really was quite clear on is fear of the lord. Father heart was taking a look at some of the ways we view God, both the correct and incorrect ways., and learning about God the father in relation to Holy Spirit and Jesus. We learned about God's natural attributes and his character. We looked at the ways God views us and ways he treats us because of his love for us. It was really a good week.

This week is Fear of the Lord, and Clear conscious. Ill update with how that goes.
